Disney World is kicking off summer with a host of new and updated attractions for guests.

Cool Kids Summer returns, with a run time from May 26 to September 8, highlighted by a reimagined Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster staring The Muppets, a brand-new Bluey experience, and so much more.

I caught up with Jodi Bainter, Vice President of Domestic Leisure Sales for Disney Destinations to learn more about what travel advisors need to know.

Bainter recommends advisors register at DisneyTravelAgents.com and follow Disney Travel Professionals on social media for all the tools Disney Destinations offers.

“What's so exciting is there's so much happening across the Walt Disney World Resort,” Bainter said. “So, all the things that we loved last summer about Cool Kids, DJ parties, happening across the resort at the theme parks (and) also character meet and greets. But what I think I love the most is we've got great offers. So, if you have a family that's interested in coming, we've got our kids dine free, water park upon arrival for those guests that stay at the resort. There's ticket offers that are unlike any that we have throughout the year, and great resort offers. So, I feel like we've put so many tools out there. There's so much information about what's happening across the resort. It's a great time for families to come visit Walt Disney World this summer.”

Cool Kids Summer attractions for guests include a plethora of options for all ages at each of Disney World’s four theme parks.

Animal Kingdom

- Bluey and Bingo at Conservation Station: Starting May 26, Bluey’s Wild Word debuts and the sisters are officially arriving at the park. You can take the Wildlife Express Train to play games from the show (like "Keepy Uppy"), meet them for photos, and visit "Jumping Junction" to see animals native to Australia.

- Zootopia: Better Zoogether!:A brand-new, lively 4D show featuring Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde once again solving a crime together.

EPCOT

- GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall: This interactive, high-energy party zone returns this summer with a DJ and Goofy crew that lead dance breaks, silly games, and playground-style activities designed to let little kids completely burn off energy.

- Soarin’ Across America: A new film celebrating the United States’ 250th anniversary, replacing "Around the World."

Hollywood Studios

- Rock 'n' Roller Coaster: Reimagined to star The Muppets and Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, featuring a rotation of five songs to keep you coming back to try and listen to them all. The songs for the debut of the ride include: "Song 2" – The Electric Mayhem, "Born To Be Wild" – The Electric Mayhem ft. Camilla the Chicken, "Love Rollercoaster" – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson & Questlove, "Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)" – The Electric Mayhem ft. Def Leppard, "Walking on Sunshine" – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kelly Clarkson.

- Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!: A brand-new stage show inspired by Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, where kids can "Mousekedance" along with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto to original songs.

- The Walt Disney Studios Lot Courtyard: Animation Courtyard has been completely reimagined into a lush, shaded studio lot, featuring the indoor "Drawn to Wonderland" playground area inspired by Once Upon a Studio. Explore the area and see if you can find all the character statues.

Magic Kingdom

- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin: Reopened with updated blasters, interactive targets, and a new guide character named Buddy

- Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue: A limited-time Toy Story-themed show taking over the Diamond Horseshoe in Frontierland, packed with music, dancing, and interactive games.

- Big Thunder Mountain: Refurbished roller coaster with new trains and new tracks is now much smoother, and the rider height requirement is now 38 inches. Plus, guests get a sneak peek of how big the area is that Disney is clearing out for future Magic Kingdom expansion plans

- Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away Parade: A stunning nighttime parade using high-tech floats and stunning lighting to bring Disney and Pixar stories to life.

Plus, four specific resorts (Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, and Port Orleans Riverside) are designated as hubs for Cool Kids Summer this year, featuring scheduled character pajama parties, bedtime story hours, and extra infant-focused amenities in the rooms.
