Bio
Jennifer Wall began her career in a local restaurant before moving into hotels and resorts while earning her Bachelor’s in Resort and Hospitality Management. Her experience spans front desk, housekeeping, reservations, and revenue and sales, giving her a full view of the hospitality industry.
For the past 7.5 years, she’s served as Leisure Sales Coordinator for Visit Fort Myers, training Travel Advisors and cultivating relationships that elevate the destination. As the wedding specialist, she brings a decade of industry experience, including owning a sustainable floral business. She also serves as Crisis Lodging Coordinator, leading emergency lodging efforts during weather events.
This year, she’s celebrating 20 years in the hospitality industry. Most recently, she recognized a need for greater connection and collaboration within the Florida DMO domestic travel trade market. Since many attend the same shows and understand that they’re not in competition, she took the initiative to organize and launch a quarterly call bringing together Florida’s Domestic Leisure Sales Managers.
With the support of Dan from Visit Central Florida, who co-moderated and kept the conversation flowing, the first call was a success and received outstanding feedback. They’re excited to continue these calls, which will strengthen relationships across Florida DMOs and provide even greater resources for Travel Advisors.
Jennifer is 36 years old.
"Being named to the TravelPulse 40 Under 40 is an incredible honor that reflects the journey I’ve taken through every facet of hospitality—from restaurants and resorts to sales, weddings, and crisis response," said Jennifer. "Each experience has deepened my dedication to service and strengthened my passion for empowering travel advisors to share the authentic beauty of Fort Myers and its surrounding areas. As a Fort Myers native, supporting advisors and helping them bring our destination to life for their clients is truly where my passion lies, and I’m proud to represent our community through this recognition."

“It is my pleasure to recommend Jennifer Walla to be a part of 2025 TravelPulse 40 Under 40,” said Holly Rafferty, Travel Advisor. “Spending time with her in destination was one of the most valuable resources I have experienced on a FAM trip. She has a passion for travel, her excitement is contagious, and she truly loves to share her knowledge.
“From the moment she said hello until I hugged her goodbye with tears in my eyes I learned so much about the Southwestern Florida Coast that I never knew, and I have visited numerous times. Jennifer was thoughtful and thorough. She showed us activities in the area that appeal to both families and adult travelers alike. We rode trains, tasted chocolates, held alligators, learned about SW Florida history, made pizza, went to the beach and so much more. We kept to a schedule and I am pretty sure I know more about the area than family that live there for 7 months out of the year.
“But more importantly, Jennifer has an amazing ability to make you feel at ease and feel like you have known her forever. She included many personal touches throughout our FAM time together but the one that touched me the most was when she dropped me at the airport with a final gift. A beautiful silver frame with a photo of us together at one of our stops. It's on my desk and reminds me that there are beautiful and sincere people in the travel industry that do care about people along with their goals.
“From the bottom of my heart, I hope you choose Jennifer to attend as the enthusiasm and energy she will bring to the event will be second to none. She has an amazing future in the travel industry and a positive asset to everyone who crosses her path,” finished Rafferty.
